Beyond the Bean is a highly successful Bristol based brand offering expertly crafted coffee and food. Created in 1997 by Jim and Nikki, the brand has grown and expanded in leaps and bounds, launching other successful brand names such as Sweetbird and Zuma along the way. Beyond the Bean export to over 40 countries from their offices in the UK, Europe and USA and the business is run by a friendly and knowledgeable team.
This project required a short video and animation that together would explain the business and the team behind Beyond the Bean. The toughest challenge was creating a video that was engaging and informative, yet completely accessible to viewers without audio at trade fairs around the world.
To understand the Beyond the Bean brand, we spent time working in each department within the company. This allowed us to gain a valuable insight of the internal workings of the business.
